Here's to you Max Morlock... Danny & Dusty Live in Nuremburg, 2CD/DVD, 2007
25$info
| Danny & Dusty Live In Nuremberg is a 2CD/DVD souvenir of the band's complete April show at the K4 club in (where else?) Nuremberg. The CD features the same fine band that played on Cast Iron Soul (Steve Wynn, Dan Stuart, Stephen McCarthy, Chris Cacavas, Bob Rupe and Johnny Hott) and was assembled by the same audio and video wizards that put together Live Tick by Steve Wynn & The Miracle 3 last year. .......oh, and Max Morlock? Well, I bet some of you football fans already know but ol' Max was a star of the Nuremberg team back in the 50s. |

| Some things just can’t be rushed. 22 years after the release of their much-loved 1984 classic “The Lost Weekend,” Steve Wynn and Dan Stuart brought 12 new songs down to Richmond, Virginia last December and recorded this new record with Johnny Hott (Gutterball, Sparklehorse, House of Freaks) and Bob Rupe (Silos, Cracker, Gutterball) as well as two holdovers from the first album: Stephen McCarthy (Long Ryders, Gutterball) and Chris Cacavas (Green On Red). The record was produced by JD Foster and the first 5000 CDs include a full length DVD of a Danny & Dusty show at the Music Machine in LA back in 1986. The deluxe package is available right here until it’s GONE. Previews can be heard at www.myspace.com/dannydusty ($20) advance orders accepted for April 1 shipping |

What I Did After My band Broke Up, 2CD, 2005
15$info
| What I Did After My Band Broke Up" + bonus disc (Down There/DBK Works) is the first anthology of Steve's solo career that began after the Dream Syndicate split up in 1989. This CD contains 17 songs that span the years between 1990's "Kerosene Man" and 2003's "Static Transmission". Beautifully remastered with cool packaging. Steve's song-by-song commentary is a great read as you trip darkly through his past.
The bonus disc (called "Visitation Rights") contains 14 of Steve's songs rearranged for piano and vocal - recently recorded with co-conspirator/pal Chris Cacavas. This 2-CD set is priced as a single disc and will be released on March 22, 2005, but you can pre-order your copy here |

From A Man Of Mysteries - A Steve Wynn Tribute, 2CD, 2004
20$info
| A 2CD collection with 28 of his songs performed by friends, bandmates, touring partners and all of the songs are performed with not only tender loving care but also with the irreverence and creativity that you'd want to hear on a CD like this. There are just too many highlights to mention (including the first new Gutterball track in eight years).
This won't be in the stores until mid-June (and only in Europe) but you can get it here for $20--AND all of the profits go to the Bowery Mission, a fine and worthy establishment in New York City. |

Ghost Stories, CD, 2004
15$info
| This is the definitive version of the fourth and final album from The Dream Syndicate. The new version contains EIGHT bonus tracks, all from the KCRW shows the band played in 1987 and 1988, including a searing alternate arrangement of "When the Curtain Falls," embryonic takes of "Carolyn" and "Never Ending Rain" (both of which ended up on Steve's solo albums) and a hilarious, shambolic version of Eric Burdon and War's "Spill the Wine."
Steve personally directed the remastering. It sounds incredible--much more full-bodied, agressive and LOUD than ever before. It sounds more like what the band must have been hearing in those Hollywood studios back in 1988. |

Live At Raji's, 2CD, 2004
17$info
| It's been called one of the best live albums of all time. It certainly is a good snapshot of the final lineup of the Dream Syndicate at their unbridled, anarchic peak. This will be the first time the COMPLETE show has been available - how could they keep us waiting all this time?
Finally, on April 23rd Ryko/Restless will be putting out "The Complete Live at Raji's," a two-CD set that includes four songs not on the original version ("See That My Grave Is Kept Clean," "Tell Me When It's Over," "All Along the Watchtower" and "When You Smile.")
The music has been remastered and it sounds louder and prouder than ever-- it's exactly like being at Raji's in 1988 except you won't have to get your clothes dry-cleaned in the morning. |
