I was very lucky to see Steve/M3 at the Borderline in London last week. Great show, great band, good audience too! I\'ve been living in the US for 20 years now but it was London (Dingwalls) that I first saw Steve (with DS) at Dingwalls. He\'s such a great musician and composer! Too bad Atlanta isn\'t on the tour schedule too often these days (last show was Echo Lounge) but I\'m looking forward to the next time we \

I\\\'ve bombed around this site many times but for whatever Gemini-kind of reason I always over looked this nook. I like it. It\\\'s good to see so many of you writing and anxious for more shows because we\\\'re going to cover every square inch of earth in the next 6 months....I look forward to seeing each and every one of you at no fewer than 3 shows each!!

From a Berkeley Square gig in 1980 (?) to the latest batches of SXSW, it\'s been great to watch and listen. I would have to say that last year\'s Mother Egan\'s day show was the best rnr show I\'ve ever seen, second maybe only to an Iggy Pop monster mash about 30 years ago. Best of luck to you and the band. Ralph

Hey, just returned home from your show at NYC\'s Mercury Lounge. Well, not exactly home, considering the fact that I\'m sitting in front of a computer screen in a somewhat sleazy bar on E14th Street, about 4,000 miles away from home. Anyway, tonight\'s show must have been the best concert I\'ve been to in years!! You guys rock!! Can\'t wait to listen to your new record, let alone to see you on the road again (so I hope) in May...

Oslo, dec.7. A long wait for the new album and another long wait for a new live performance is finally come to end. Enjoyed your work as always - great to see the Miracles again, too. A good old, honest and hardworking rockband - with van Loo on the coarse strings doing a great job (where do you find all those bassplayers?)Having seen all your concerts in Oslo and its surroundings for the past 15 years, could this be the first time you looked just a little bit tired!?!? Hey - we want you to last LONG, so be sure you get the rest and the vitamins you need, all right? Still - the show was FAR from a disappointment - and the new songs are really smashing livematerial!! Very good!
Now - drive carefully. There\'s shitty weather coming up on its way to Bergen!

I first heard the Dream Syndicate when I bought Days of Wine and Roses and Medicine Show LPs when they came out due to favorable press. I liked them, but never had the chance to see them live. I rediscoved the DS and their enormous, mind-bending live sound through Live at Rajis and realized those guys were my favorite band all along. I was excited to hear Steve had a long solo career I knew nothing about. Like a lot of people after hearing a DS show I snapped up as much DS and Steve as I could find. I just listened to Steve and the Miracle 3 on KINKFM\'s web site and I\'m sure Tick Tick Tick is his band\'s best offering to date. I can\'t wait until they hit the US next year! Steve, you definitely did the right thing by allowing the trade of your live music online. Your studio work is great but you are a genius on stage. That 2meter session is my favorite album right now, it\'s been on my CD player nonstop since I discovered it. Let this be a lesson to more tightass groups out there. Thanks in part to Steve\'s generosity, they\'re now my favorite band and I will buy each new release with slavish devotion. It Steve hadn\'t allowed his live stuff to be shared in this manner, Dream Syndicate might even be just be a fond memory from my adolescence and nothing more.

Dear Steve:

I\'m not announcing any pharma-shop or sex trades. I\'m only showing my guilt and my sorrow. I missed your show here two weeks ago. Every time has been a great pleasure, inmense: DS second time (\'87, too young the first show), Gutterball in castellón, SW bands at Sala 4, Roxy... and now? Why not this time? As the Dead Milkmen said: life is shit. Getting old is awful. Being a family man sucks. Mecaguen la puta.

Dear Steve Wynn and musicians from Gutterball. At the libary today something draw me to the cd-room and I rediscovered the sound and memory of long lost but never forgotten times at "Huset" in Århus, Denmark, in the mid 90´s, where I happily danced some great nights away at your concerts. Now I read that Gutterball has played a show together in 2003 and might be planning on recording a new album together again. I wish for nothing more - except that you please, please bring Gutterball back on an European Tour with the new album. I promise she´ll be there - "the girl with the funny teeth" (that one was for you Armistead....).
Yours sincerely

I must've seen every Dream Syndicate show at the 930 club in Wash. D.C. slam dancing and having my ears ring for two days after. I saw you open for R.E.M. and play with Paul Cutler at the Marble Bar in Baltimore? I worshiped you guys and then foolishly lost touch. Only recently I have begun to rediscover all of the great music I missed. Looking forward SO MUCH to your show tonight in Copenhagen. Saw you some 10 years ago at Rust, I think just after Kerosene Man, one of those songs, I hope to hear tonight. I wonder if you remember to wear the "staff" jacket you were given after the 10th. gig at Loppen?

Austin SXSW last March. Long time fan of Green On Red/Danny and Dusty/Gutterball...wasn't sure what you were up to...my God! Your set at the Continental gave me a whole new outlook on life. I wish I would've talked to you after at Mojo's BBQ. This was my first visit to the SXSW. Your gig was tops, and the other ones that I loved were Verbeena, Beaver Nelson, the Silos, and good old John Dee Graham. I hope I can talk my wife and kids into letting me get away for it again next year -- and PLEASE attend or play in some way or another in 2004! Bring Dan Stuart for a Danny & Dusty reunion if possible! Thanks for the outstanding live music. (and thanks to Blue Rose for the live material available for free download - killer!)
